For genuinely soft water, yes. We offer salt-free systems, but those only descale, they do not truly soften. A salt system gives you real soft, filtered water, and upkeep is just a bag of salt every couple of months.

They are assembled in Texas. The components are sourced globally like most systems, but we build and service them here and stand behind them with a warranty.
Lifetime on parts, five years on the media inside the tanks, and one year on the reverse osmosis. Your first year of service trips is free, then it is a flat $99 per trip.
Very little. Add a bag of salt every couple of months, about eight dollars from any hardware store. The system cleans itself on a schedule, and the reverse osmosis filters get swapped once a year.
